Fresno County District Attorney Elizabeth Egan has given law enforcement the authority to crack down on Sanger gangs.
A new injunction means members of one particular street gang in Sanger can't hang out together, drive around together or even flash gang signs at each other.
Sanger Police Chief Tom Whiteside said, "We will not to tolerate gangs, gang violence and the negative influences that they have on our youth and the overall effect they have on the health of our community."
This is the second time a gang injunction was issued in Sanger. The last one in 2003 dropped gang crime by more than 50% in six months.
