California is Back to an Extreme Drought

        After nearly a month of dry weather, part of California is back to what weather officials are calling extreme drought.
        This weeks drought monitor reports more than 70% of California falls in the extreme or exceptional drought category.
        That is 5% more compared to last week's monitor.
        Extreme drought means that the state has not seen this kind of dryness in about the last 20 to 50 years.
