This Friday, ordinary people doing extraordinary things will be honored here in the valley.
They were nominated by you and the American Red Cross chose eleven Real Heroes to be honored.
One of those heroes is Karson Dieter. The 12-year-old autistic boy saved a woman's life who was being attacked by dogs.
He shared his story with our Sunrise viewers.

All the heroes will be honored this Friday at the American Red Cross Real Heroes Event.
It's a 40's themed party and sure to be a heart-warming evening that will leave you inspired and awed by the honorees.
It takes place at Yosemite International Airport in the Corporate Hangar from 5-10:30pm.
