President Obama wants to make more americans eligible for overtime pay.
Thursday, the President signed an executive memorandum, directing the labor secretary to overhaul the nation's overtime pay rules.Right now, anyone earning a salary of 455-dollars a week or more is not eligible for overtime, that will likely be raised to qualify more workers.
Another possible change -- the definition of a supervisor.
President Obama has taken other actions this year to increase worker pay.
He has called on congress to up the federal minimum wage to $10.10 an hour and issued an executive order requiring federal contractors be paid by that higher minimum wage.
