It happened after a Saturday night out at Fatboys Bar in Fresno. His brother was leaving when he got into a minor fender bender in the parking lot. As he got out of the car to sort things out, an unknown assailant attacked. It's been a week since, and still...noone's in custody.
"It's not something we respond to a lot but obviously when you have a lot of individuals together ...Sometimes they don't make good decisions," said Lt. John Papaelo of Fresno Police Department.
The 39-year-old man has undergone emergency brain surgery to relieve pressure form blood surrounding his brain, and has been placed in a medically-induced coma.Outside the bar Monday, people try to make sense of things.
