A close call for a paraglider as he crashes right into the side of a mountain at a high rate of speed.
A Fresno County Sheriff's Department helicopter was called in to find the pilot.
It happened Saturday just before 2:00 p.m. off Highway 180 near Dunlap.
The 45-year-old ended up close to Cat Haven where lions are kept.
A search and rescue team picked him up from a rock near the crash site.
According to Cal Fire he was able to walk away on his own.
