Gas Leak in Downtown Fresno

    A Downtown Fresno neighborhood is back to normal after a gas leak on Thursday.
    It happened just before noon on Divisadero and G streets.
    It prompted the evacuation of some nearby buildings.
    Close to 100 people had to leave their offices because of the leak.
    A PG & E spokesman said it was caused by a contractor who struck a gas main.
    PG & E was able to quickly fix the leak.
    People were able to return to their offices a short time later.
