Keeping Alcohol Out of the Hands of Teens

        Clovis Police are working to keep alcohol out of the hands of teens. Last week the department held an informational class for business owners.
        It focused on preventing selling alcohol to minors. They got tips on how to work with law enforcement to prevent crime.
        Then last night, officers had teenage decoys ask adults to buy alcohol for them. Three out of eight people the decoys approached, bought alcohol, and were arrested.
        They were issued citations.
        The department plans to do more operations in the upcoming months.
