We now know the name of a man killed in an officer involved shooting in Fresno.
He's 18-year-old Joseph Ma. It all started around 6 p.m. Sunday night near Lorena and Clara Avenues in Southwest Fresno.
Officers had pulled over a car for making an illegal u-turn. Two of the passengers jumped out of the car and ran off. One of them had a gun.
Police said one of the officers gave chase and ran through an apartment complex. Shortly after entering that apartment complex the officer fired at the suspect who was armed with a handgun.
Ma was taken to the hospital where he later died. The other passenger got away.
