        We all have our favorite shows, actors and movies, and every year hundreds head to Hollywood in search of fame.
        But, they may not need to travel that far south.
        Acting talent here in the Central Valley has some eyes in L.A. now looking this way.
        You could be watching Hollywood's next breakout star, right here in the Central Valley.
        Dan Pessano of the Good Company Players said, "one of the flattering things, you know, when the kids come back from auditioning, and they say, we've been asked before, what's going on up there?"
        What's going on is film making.
        Hollywood is taking notice to who and what is coming out of the valley, and it's thanks in part to now-established valley actors like Chris Colfer and Tony-award winner Audra McDonald.
        Add to the mix a former mayor with Hollywood experience and... the stage is set.
        But some, like filmmaker Orlando J. Gomez, said the valley needs to dream big to make the big screen.
        "My team's vision is to have a legitimate studio. We want backlots. We want sound stages. We want L.A. coming here," said Orlando J. Gomez a valley film maker.
         "It's self image as much as anything. the talent is here. i think everybody knows there is not a huge difference. it just matters how you do your craft. }
        Valley actor, Ronald Blackwell sums it up best, he's worked in L.A. and here in the valley.
        His advice rings true for actors, film makers and the Hollywood potential for Central California.
        "Don't get discouraged. It's not a sprint. It's a marathon. and you've got to keep plugging away at it. And don't let them forget who you are. keep putting yourself out there," said Blackwell.
