People in Tulare are mourning the death of CHP Officer Juan Gonzalez. He was killed in a crash on Highway 99 along with his partner, Brian Law. Gonzalez is being remembered for his hard work and dedication to high school and his career. He graduated from Tulare Union in 1999 and worked at the Palace Market for 10 years before moving on to the Highway Patrol. Teachers and friends say it was his goal in life and he wanted to help people. Sadly, his life was cut short at the age of 33 but it's a life many in Tulare will always remember.
