Governor Jerry Brown was in the South Valley Wednesday. Brown stopped in Tulare for a meeting about High Speed Rail but also briefly toured the World Ag Expo. Upon arrival, he was immediately questioned about water, the drought and his plans to help farmers. The Governor declared a drought emergency last month and says state lawmakers are working together to solve the crisis. Still, he says federal politicians need to do the same. Brown is hoping President Obama's visit to Fresno on Friday will help that effort.
