The Visalia Police Department has some new green vehicles on the street. They're called T3 Motion vehicles. They are kind of like segways with 3 wheels. The department purchased two with a grant and one is being used to patrol the downtown area. The officer using it says it's more of a tool to connect with the community and build relationships with business owners. The other T3 will be used by the bomb squad to transport officers in and out of a scene with heavy gear on.
