Ca Citrus: $441 Million Lost in December Freeze

The December freeze took a major toll on the state's citrus crop. According to Ca Citrus Mutual,  the cold weather wiped out $441 million in mandarins, navel oranges and lemons. The group says growers spent $50 million defending their crops. Still, enough fruit survived to keep the industry going and keep packing houses open.
