Monsignor Myron Cotta Appointed Bishop

        Monsignor Myron Cotta of the Diocese of Fresno is looking forward to his new position in the Catholic Church.
        Pope Francis has appointed Monsignor Cotta as Auxillary Bishop of the Diocese of Sacramento.
        Monsignor Cotta is currently the Vicar General of the Fresno Diocese. He will be ordained as Bishop in March in Sacramento.
        The Monsignor said he found out about the honor in Mid January.
        Monsignor Cotta filled in as Administrator of the Diocese following the death of Bishop John Steinbock.
