Fresno Police are investigating a shooting in Downtown Fresno.
The shooting happened around 2:40a.m. Sunday in a parking lot on the West side of Van Ness Avenue across from the Mezcal Bar.
Police say when they arrived they found a 23 year-old male victim with multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body.
Although the victim did have very serious wounds he was conscious and verbal with emergency crews.
The victim was transported to CRMC and is expected to recover from his injuries.
The suspected shooter is described as being a heavy-set male with a shaved head, he was last seen driving a light colored SUV.
Police are still searching for the suspect.
