The General Manager of the Chukchansi Gold Resort and Casino told CBS47 that it was business as usual at the resort Tuesday despite the violence that unfolded at Tribal Headquarters across the street.
Visitors were seen arriving at the resort at a steady pace throughout the day while vehicles from several different law enforcement agencies lined the street just beyond the resort's parking lot.
The resort's general manager says those wishing to visit the resort to gamble or eat are still being allowed in without any problems. Several people told CBS47 on Tuesday that they were told by resort employees that the resort was not taking any new reservations.
Resort leaders say if you do want to make new reservations, you might have better success if you wait until on Wednesday. A portion of one of the resort's two towers was taken off the market, leaders said. Leaders would not go into detail about why.
The best thing to do if you have any questions about reservations is to call the resort directly, leaders said.
