A former paralegal convicted of murder was sentenced Thursday.
Brian Waldron was found guilty last month for murdering Jonathan Taylor. During Thursday's hearing Waldron started shouting and had to be removed from the courtroom.
The judge sentenced him in while he was in a holding cell. He received 28 years to life in prison.
Waldron killed Taylor in 2008 and buried him in the foothills. He claimed he killed Taylor in self-defense. Waldron says he disposed of the body because Taylor was a gang member and he feared retaliation.
