In Clovis, a resident used a device on his smartphone to help catch a man who was burglarizing his home.
Police ended up arresting 20-year-old Michael Cook just after 3:30 p.m. Thursday. They received a call about a burglar in the 100 block of North Lind.
The homeowner wasn't there but got a notification on his cell phone about an alarm being tripped. He was able to look at his security cameras through his phone and spotted the suspect.
When police arrived the suspect took off but he was arrested a short time later.
