The Fresno State Bulldogs will face Utah State on Saturday in the Mountain West Conference Championship.

Fans are clearly excited about Saturday night's game and tickets are going fast. There will be a huge audience both at the stadium and on national TV.

"The first ever Mountian West Championship game, national television, the captains met today and decided to go black, so black everything coming down the ramp at 7pm saturday," said associate athletics director Paul Ladwig.

The Bulldogs and their fans have overcome black Friday when the Dog's fell to San Jose State and they've decided to wear those smart black uniforms for the huge game Saturday night.

"I'm thinking its gonna be pretty close to a sellout, if not a sellout. Still got a pretty good team and a good chance to win the Mountain West Championship," said fan Louie Ruiz.

By midday Monday the stadium was more than half sold out.

Sellout? I'm hoping it will, I think chances are good. I know it's on national TV and it's gonna be cold, but I hope everybody comes out to support the Dogs because they deserve it," said fan Ron Boloise.

Said another fan, Jeanne Faleck, "it's more fun being at a game in person and it's gonna be a little chilly so it's gonna be like a real fall football game. And we don't get that experience very often and I'm from the Midwest and I love having that."
