Covered California launched a hot line to help people whose health plans are being canceled at the end of this year.
About one-million policyholders in California were notified that their insurance plans will be discontinued at the end of the year because they don't meet Affordable Care Act requirements.
Each call center for Covered California has dozens of representatives ready to take your calls.
"Consumers who are having any kind of issue or questions. If they are having questions about their eligibility. If they have been sent one of those letters that says that they are going to have their insurance terminated. That there isn't a delay in them finding out the answers and information that's going to allow them to make an informed decision about their healthcare options," says Dan Howard, with Covered California.
The hotline number for those who need it is: 1-800-300-1506
