Fresno Police Awarded for Outstanding Commitment

        Hard work has paid off for the Fresno Police Department.
        
        The U.S. attorney's office presented the department with an award today for its outstanding commitment to law enforcement.
        
        U.S. attorney Ben Wagoner said his relationship with Fresno Police Department has resulted in safer neighborhoods. Chief Jerry Dyer agrees. Dyer said in the past three years, there have been 60 gang and firearms cases that have been successfully prosecuted.
