The Fresno Police Department announced on Thursday that they have arrested a man they say raped five women dating back to July of this year.
Thirty five year old Carlos Ramirez was a resident of Sanger at the time of his arrest. Police say the women Ramirez is accused of raping are all African American and four of them are between the ages of 18 and 24.
"In each of the cases Ramirez either used a handgun or a tazer in order to install fear into the victims so they would either get into his vehicle or he would prevent them from escaping by activating the tazer or pointing the hand gun at them," said Fresno Police Chief Jerry Dyer
Police say they are also looking for a second suspect.
We will continue to follow this developing story and will bring you information as soon as it becomes available.
