Fourteen people are homeless after a two-alarm fire ripped through four apartment units in Fresno. It happened Thursday afternoon on the 200 block of Dakota, east of Fruit.
It took 30 firefighters 20 minutes to knock down the flames. No one was hurt. One family was worried that its dog Chico had run away, but firefighters found the dog and brought it out to the grateful family.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation. It cause more than $200,000 in damage.
