Investigators are trying to determine the cause of an overnight fire at Oller and 6th Streets in Mendota.
Investigators are trying to determine the cause of an overnight fire at Oller and 6th Streets in Mendota.
The blaze started just before 4:00 a.m. Monday morning in a Dollar City and quickly spread to the Pacifica Pizza restaurant in the same center.
The roof collapsed over the Dollar City space and fire crews say that part of the building is a total loss and the damage to the pizza restaurant is extensive.
Another nearby business also suffered fire and water damage.
An insurance adjuster at the scene says damage to the structures is estimated at about $500,000.
