The Aspen Fire has burned nearly 7,000 acres since being touched off by a lightning strike on Tuesday.
Fire crews have managed to contain 15-percent of the fire, spending millions in the process.
Due to its remote location, no homes are currently threatened and firefighters are confident they will be able to fully contain the blaze in the next few weeks.
