Big Brothers and Big Sisters took advantage of the sunshine Saturday and held a summer fun day.
The event took place at Railroad Park in Clovis.
The event was held to show appreciation to the numerous volunteers who donate just a few hours each week to helping valley children.
"A chance for the to come out and enjoy fun activities. We had water games, face painting, they got to make visors and t-shirts, got to do fabric paint on t-shirts. It was all for free for our volunteers who spend just a couple hours a week with their children," said Chris Toth, an Americore VIP for Big Brothers Big Sisters.
The group would like to remind people that they are always in need of volunteers.
