The Christian youth organization, World Changers, are gathering in Clovis to renovate homes for those in need.
Students volunteering in Clovis are from San Jose, Milpitas, and Fremont in Northern California, as well as Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, and West Virginia.
The students must pay for their own way, so many participate in fundraisers back home.
The group is staying at Clovis North High School July 15-20 and will be painting homes, building fences, clearing debris, doing home maintenance and serving those in need while they are in town.
A second group will arrive in Clovis on Monday, July 22nd.
