Things are back to normal in downtown Fresno after a natural gas leak that closed several streets.
The gas leak was discovered after a fire at the old JC Penney's building on the Fulton Mall.
The area around the building including Chukchansi Park were shut down for several hours.
The leak was centered at Fulton Mall and Tulare st. and two blocks in either direction were closed to traffic for more than five hours.
Investigators say the fire that started this was caused by transients stripping copper wire from the old JC Penny's building.
Saturday's Grizzlies baseball game went on as scheduled with the first pitch being thrown at 7:05 p.m.
