You now have a chance to have your name on the future Fresno Aquarium cinder blocks are being sold for one-hundred or two-hundred dollars to help to raise the money needed for the construction of the first building.
"People can put their names on the block they can have their names on the building for as little as a hundred dollars. People are buying in honor of people in memory of people even for themselves just to put their name on the future aquarium," says Tom Lang the executive director of the Fresno Aquarium project.
So far 125 blocks have been sold.
Organizers have raised five million dollars to build the facility, they need another 750-thousand dollars to complete the project.
