Brenda White Tomlinson is happy to be back in her home. The fire started 3 miles from her place and she was staying at the evacuation center, not knowing if she would have a home to return to. "It's all it's place. It's still green out back. It's such a blessing," said Brenda.
The Carstens Fire has burned nearly 1700 acres east of Midpines, after an unattended campfire started it Sunday afternoon.
Thanks to the hard work of the firefighters, no homes were lost.
