34-year-old Kyle Pennington has been with the Clovis Police Department for nearly six years.
Sanger police arrested Pennington Wednesday morning and served a search warrant at his home.
CBS47 has learned that police were called to his home early Tuesday morning for a report of domestic violence.
Sanger officers went back to his home hours later, served a search warrant and arrested Pennington.
“To my understanding he complied and didn’t cause any other problems for our officers,” said Corporal Jaimy Gaines with the Sanger Police Department.
Pennington is on leave from the Clovis Police Department.
He was placed on leave at least six weeks ago.
That was for a different complaint against him.
He's now accused of domestic violence and false imprisonment with violence.
