A gang member in Merced is in custody after he was found with guns and a stolen car.
Police arrested 19-year-old Anthony Flores at the Quality Inn near V and 12th street in Merced after witnesses said he had a gun.
Officers searched his room and found two handguns. Earlier they had also searched for a stolen car and say Flores was the suspect in that case as well.
Flores was arrested on weapons and auto theft charges.
