South Valley investigators are still looking into a deadly home invasion connected to drugs.
It happened Tuesday in Strathmore when two men with guns showed up at a home where marijuana was being processed.
A woman inside apparently shot one of the suspects who later died.
Deputies found more than 400 pounds of marijuana in the home.
One of the people who lives at the address has a medical marijuana card but detectives think the pot was being sold illegally.
Sgt. Chris Douglass with the Tulare County Sheriff's Department said, "For Strathmore area, both of the homicides that we had for last year were marijuana-related, and this is the first shooting death of the year, and it's also the first death for the year related to marijuana for our jurisdiction."
Deputies say they have visited the home two other times in the past regarding medical marijuana issues.
One person at the home, 32-year-old Candelari Moran, was taken into custody for drug and weapons charges.
