Members of the Sikh community are working to improve relations by serving pizza to their neighbors in Southwest Fresno.
Members of the Sikh community are still trying to improve relations with their neighbors following a brutal attack on an elderly Sikh leader.
A local Sikh youth organization served pizzas to the community as a way to educate others about their faith.
The group hopes that through their efforts, more could be done to prevent hate crimes.
Josdeep Singh said, "Through this tragedy we'll be able to kind of set something up with the school districts and with the local law enforcement officials to kind of get the information out there that Sikh's have been here for a very long time."
The group started making pizzas for people in Southwest Fresno and hope to reach the rest of the community in coming weeks.
