A global team from IBM will be focusing the City of Fresno for the next three weeks as part of the Smarter Cities Challenge.
The six members will work with city leaders and investors on economic development and neighborhood revitalization efforts.
The main goal is to improve technology.
IBM team member Brian Snitzer said, "We've left from our regular jobs for three weeks and we come here to do nothing but focus on Fresno. Focus on the region, and the city and what the challenges are and how those things can be improved and what we can do to help."
The IBM team has more than 40 meetings scheduled with the city and local non-profits, as well as public and private businesses.
