The sounds of baseball, as anyone who loves the game will tell you, are as much a part of the experience as what you can see. And on this night, it was the sound of plastic wrapping that many fans will remember most.
"It's on there and it’s not coming off, I love it," said fan Steven English.

"We stayed all night, we did what we had to do to get it," said English.
And with their prize in hand, it wasn't long before the ring fingers of many took on a certain sparkle. The first 2500 hundred through the gates were able to get the rings, but for those in the sell out crowd left ring less, other methods had to be used.
"He was like how much do you want for it. I was like twenty bucks, go ahead," said fan Mark Martinez who sold his ring.
For others though it was different, unlike the crack of a bat or the roar of the crowd, they could actually take this ring home. Clint Oltjenbruns dad has been at home for some time, sick and bedridden, and that made his ring priceless.
"One thing he looks forward to every day is watching the Giants play on TV, I'm going to give him this for a gift and hope it will cheer up his day and put a smile on his face," said Oltjenbruns.
