Governor Jerry Brown is back in California following a weeklong trip to China.

The trip was designed to spur more economic trade between and China and the Golden State.

While in China, Brown signed a deal that could bring a Chinese bus and electric car manufacturing plant to California.

Brown, along with California agriculture leaders, also pushed for more agriculture trade which could be good for the Central Valley.

Robert Lapsley with the California Business Roundtable said, "We are in a global economy so you have to go to different countries to create the relationships that are going to bring jobs and investment to California, but also bring investment back to China in global trade. so this is what it all about now."

In 2011, California exported about $1.7 billion worth of agriculture products to China.
