The Merced County Sheriff's Department believes a man wanted for a murder in Oregon is hiding in the crawl space of the home.
The home is off Ida and Mabel, near Marks Elementary School, which is on lockdown.
The suspect is Leland "Tom" Nicholson, wanted for a murder in Klamath Falls, Oregon.
The multi-state manhunt began last week and authorities in Oregon suspected Nicholson may be hiding out in Merced County.
