"We know you're inside the house, we have the house surrounded," said a SWAT member over a loud speaker.

SWAT members called out to a man holed up in a house with a warrant out for his arrest and when that didn’t work a bean bag was fired through the window and swat members went in.

"After he was non-compliant our tactical team utilized a less than lethal weapon to breach the windows of the residence," said Deputy Del Ray Shelton with the Merced County Sheriff’s Department.

Storming in with SWAT officers was a police dog that managed to beat officers to suspected escapee Mario Garcia, grabbing him by the leg and dragging him out.

“He did not return from a granted pass that he was allotted, that he initially agreed to return from and there for he is considered an escapee," said
Shelton.

Garcia was wanted for cutting his ankle bracelet and escaping from his AB-109 supervision program. Sheriff's deputies say this is a type of crime they are seeing more and more but one they are cracking down on.
