Family and friends of the victim huddled just outside the crime tape while neighbors inside dealt with the shock of what happened feet away from their front door.
"It's very uncomfortable, watching them every day and they were always here and I never thought they were going to get into stuff like this," said neighbor Oscar Arzola.
Police say a call of a stabbing first lead them to a home on the 4500 block of East Mono Saturday evening and when they arrived they found a man with multiple stab wounds.
"The paramedics and officers removed the victim onto the front porch so they could provide CPR however the victim was pronounced deceased at the scene," said Lt. Jose Garza with the Fresno Police Department.
The nephew of victim was taken in for questioning by police and remains there tonight. Neither ones name has been released and police say no arrests have been made.
