The California Highway Patrol says a crash in Madera County appears to be the result of a deadly combination of texting, alcohol and drugs.
A 27-year-old man died after crashing his car in Chowchilla Wednesday afternoon.
CHP investigators say there was evidence the man was texting when he crashed into a parked car on the opposite side of the road.
Officers also found open containers of alcohol and drug paraphernalia in the wreckage.
