UPDATE: An Amber Alert issued for an 11-year-old girl who was abducted from her San Jose home at gunpoint by her mother's ex-boyfriend has been cancelled.
Police have located the girl.
The suspect was shot and killed by a SWAT officer.
According to published reporters, the girl was not injured Friday afternoon even though her alleged abductor, Tri Truong Le, had her in his arms inside a San Jose townhome when he fired at officers and the SWAT team member fired back.
Police say Le forced his way into the girl's home Friday morning, assaulted one of her relative's and fired several rounds from a handgun before abducting her.
Vo was being evaluated at a local hospital following her rescue.
Investigators have not given a possible motive.

An Amber Alert has been issued out of San Jose.
11-year-old Taylor Vo was apparently kidnapped overnight.
The suspect is an Asian man in his early 40s, Tri Truong Le. He may be driving a dark colored minivan and should be considered armed and dangerous.
