The Fresno Convention and Visitors Bureau held a tourism symposium in Fresno on Tuesday.
They debuted new commercials promoting the Central Valley as a beauty and adventure destination.
The motto is, "Fresno, California's year-round Playground" with Yosemite, Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks all in our own backyard.
The convention and visitors bureau hopes more companies locally and out of the market will see Fresno as a conventions and meetings hub.
