Recommendations are out for improving the Fresno Police Department.
Police auditor Richard Rasmussen released his quarterly report at City Hall on Friday.
Among his suggestions is additional training, so officers won't fire so many shots in the future when dealing with armed suspects.
Fresno Police Chief Jerry Dyer said, "The number of rounds that are fired by officers in officer involved shootings, that has been a concern not only for us but for all law enforcement agencies."
There are a number of other recommendations in the auditor's report. Stay with CBS47 News at 5 and 6:00 p.m. as we take a closer look at his suggestions.
