Kern County District Attorney Lisa Green announced Monday morning that 16-year-old Bryan Oliver will be tried as an adult for last week's school shooting.
Oliver faces two charges of attempted murder and three charges of assault with a firearm. He is scheduled to enter a plea Monday afternoon.
Oliver told investigators he shot the student because he bullied him. The victim survived the attack.
