An air national guardsman from the
20-year old Zachary Rice was arrested at the Fresno Air National Guard Thursday and bailed out of the Kings County Jail hours later.
Kings County Gang and Narcotics teams seized loaded guns and drugs from an apartment they say is registered in his name.

Police say it’s all linked to an Air National Guardsman based in
Police arrested 20-year old Zachary Rice at the base Thursday.
“Anytime people have that large amount of meth and marijuana we feel using those guns to protect themselves against drug rip offs or possibly against other gang members,” said Hanford Police Investigator Justin Vallin.
Also arrested... 19-year old Cristian Hernandez.
Investigators believe he was living in the apartment.
Police say neighbors tipped them off.
A military man in Downtown Hanford is upset that a serviceman is allegedly involved.
“You are who you are whether you're in the military or not and it's too bad that the military can't catch that when they're being brought in to the military,” said Erik Jensen.
The Air National Guard released this statement:
"Due to the nature of this incident and the ongoing investigation by the Hanford Police Department, we cannot speculate on any details at this time."
It’s a joint investigation by Hanford Police and the Kings County Sheriff’s Department.
It’s the second drug bust for the Sheriff’s Department in a couple weeks.
