CBS47 has confirmed that former Fresno State womens basketball coach, Adrian Wiggins, is returning to the Valley.
Wiggins has verbally agreed to be the boys basketball coach at Clovis East High School.
While at Fresno State, Wiggins led the Lady Dogs to 5 consecutive NCAA Tournaments and 4 WAC Championships.
Coach Wiggins left Fresno State at the end of last season to take the head coaching job at the University of Mississippi but was fired before the opening of the season after it was learned two of his assistant coaches violated NCAA rules.
CBS47's Sports Director, George Takata, says Wiggins will be in Clovis next month to sign his contract and that Clovis Unified School District told him they have finalized their search for a new boys head basketball coach.
Takata also says the Clovis East is getting a very good coach and the boys will learn a lot from the former division A coach.
