Ceremonies were held in Fresno and Visalia to honor those lost 71 years ago in the attack on Pearl Harbor.

Four Pearl Harbor survivors attended the Friday morning ceremony at Fresno's VA Hospital.

There was a bell ringing for the more than 100 local survivors who have passed away over the years.

A wreath was laid for the thousands killed, as well as the lives that were saved in the attack.

There was also a ceremony in Visalia Friday morning.

Also on Friday, the Fresno State Symphonic Band will present a multi-media performance in tribute to Pearl Harbor at Fresno State in the Music Dept. Concert Hall from 8:00 p.m. to 9:15 p.m.

Tickets are $7 for general admission, $6 for senior citizens and Fresno State employees, and $5 for Fresno State Students with valid ID. All veterans will be admitted free of charge.

There is also a Sounds of Freedom concert on Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at the Clovis Memorial Building. CBS47's Jenny Toste is the mistress of ceremonies for the concert.
